Early reading skills through the NextGen Program

Grade I students strengthened key early reading skills through the NetGen Program by sorting words according to their initial, middle, and final sounds, boosting phonemic awareness for both decoding and spelling. They then enhanced fluency and expression with echo reading of the rhythmic, repetitive text.
