Dough Models of Mammals By Grade I

After they visited the zoo, Grade I students created dough models of mammals and other animals in their science classrooms, with support from the art department. The classroom transformed into a maker’s space where their imaginations came to life. Through this hands-on experience, they gained a practical understanding of how animals differ in shape and size.
