Grade IX students creating the 3D models of covalent bonding

Grade IX students were given a task to create 3D models that demonstrated their understanding of covalent bonding. The project required students to use their knowledge of chemistry and geometry to design and construct physical representations that accurately showed the nature of this type of bonding.
The models depicted sharing of electrons between two or more and thus the resulting formation of stable molecules.
Through this project, students deepened their understanding of covalent bonding and developed their skills in geometry, design, and creativity
