Philosophy

At New Millennium High School we believe that learning is a never-ending process. It is a lifelong commitment that will enable our students to realize the truth. We cultivate the appreciation for learning in our students, as we value the learning process as important as the knowledge itself. We cherish their creativity and imaginations and always work to help them realize their own highest levels of excellence.

The development of reading, writing, thinking and speaking is the basis of our educational philosophy. These are the essential aspects of learning and of communication. We teach our students to read with understanding, write with clarity, think with reasoning and speak articulately. We provide our students with skills that develop their ‘critical thinking’ and they are taught ‘how to think’ rather than ‘what to think’.

A strong foundation of knowledge, development of character, and understanding of human values facilitate the progression of the individual towards true wisdom. We highly value the student’s potential of progression along his or her own path of attainment and self-realization.

We understand that the nature of education in school is shaped by the beliefs and values it holds in addition to the integration of information from different subject areas. We are dedicated to equally providing these two aspects of schooling to our students. The two spheres complement each other in the formation of a balanced and whole education.
